HOTEL CHATEAU D'EAU, Paris – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel's rooms, though a bit small, were good enough for the price paid and filled with fellow travelers. The service was very friendly and helpful, offering convenient amenities. The location was close to key transportation hubs but might not be the safest area. The dining experience offered a standard Continental breakfast. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory for our stay.

The hotel is a mixed bag with a small room that had a slight smoke smell but compensated with a cable TV, minibar, and fridge. The bustling street view from the juliet balcony was enjoyable, and the noise was well-contained when the doors were shut.

The hotel had a recently laid wood floor in the rooms, which were a bit too small but good enough for the price we paid. It was possible to squeeze around one side of the bed due to the compact size. The service was outstanding and exceeded my expectations, with room service, dry cleaning, and laundry available. The location was very good, close to the Chateau d'eau tube station and only 2 stops away from Gare du Nord. However, the dining options were not tasty or filling at all and came at an additional charge of 6 euros, making it quite poor. The hotel facilities were average.
